Mission

The mission of the SWC is to maintain a healthy, functioning Stillaguamish Watershed by providing a local forum in which agencies, organizations, communities, and the public can engage in a collaborative watershed based process of decision making and coordination.

Adopted by consensus November 15, 2000

The purpose of the Stillaguamish Technical Advisory Group (TAG) is to provide the scientific guidance for salmon recovery needs to the Stillaguamish Watershed Council from a diverse group of technical, locally based individuals and organizations.

The TAG assists the SWC each year by drafting the Three Year Work plan and the Monitoring and Adaptive Management Report. The TAG also lends its technical expertise to the Salmon Recovery Fund project technical review.
